Since 1978, Sandy Beach has held a special place in the hearts of adventurers and beach lovers. What started as a humble spot for divers renting one of our ten private chalets has grown into a beloved destination, showcasing the beauty of Al Aqah’s coastline in Fujairah.
Despite the region’s transformation into a top-tier leisure destination, we’ve stayed true to our roots. Instead of building towering hotels, we’ve chosen to preserve our identity, offering a free-spirited, minimalist retreat. The Sandy Beach experience is more than a stay – it’s a memory, an adventure, and a moment of true relaxation. It’s your escape from the bustling city, a place where simplicity meets serenity.

DISCOVER SNOOPY ISLAND

Named for its unique silhouette, Snoopy Island is a landmark of the Fujairah coastline, and Sandy Beach guests get a front-row seat. Lying just off the resort, this small rocky outcrop is a haven for snorkelers and divers alike.
The underwater world around Snoopy Island teems with marine life, including colorful coral reefs, playful fish, and even sea turtles. Whether you’re exploring the island’s waters, gliding in via paddleboard or simply admiring its distinctive shape from the shore, Snoopy Island offers a slice of nature’s magic and a glimpse into the incredible marine biodiversity of Al Aqah.

Great place especially for families. Stayed in a chalet which was quirky and really enjoyed the bbq facilities. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Our favourite place to stay in the UAE has had a facelift with a beautiful new infinity pool and lots of other little tweaks... great showers now and the beds are always super comfy.

“Beach is gorgeous”

Beach is gorgeous. Snoopy island is absolutely phenomenal when the waves permit snorkeling. It's on the other side of the mountains, so the temperature is normally a good 5-10 degrees cooler than Dubai. Food was tasty, absolutely no complaints. Staff are incredibly friendly.
